Hey there! I’m P.J. Elias, The face behind Elias Heritage Services. I’ve been researching since 2014 when I delve head first into my Romanian-Czech ancestry. I quickly discovered that my roots also lie Poland, Ireland, Italy, Norway and Germany. I have a rich religious heritage with Catholic, Calvinist, Lutheran and Jewish ancestors, but I likely also have ancestors who were Anabaptist but I have not found them yet. My my skills have been largely self acquired over the years but I plan to get certifications in the future.
Outside of heritage research I’m working on a bachelors degree at Tilburg University with a plan to get my Masters degree in Cultural History in the coming year. Alongside my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to present at various conferences, writing articles, make podcasts and videos adding to my experience in the field.
